With International Women’s Day on the horizon, we’re highlighting a trailblazer who is making a lasting impact in the culinary world: Pati Jinich.
Each season of her beloved Emmy nominated show, Pati’s Mexican Table, celebrity chef Pati Jinich invites viewers into her kitchen where she explores authentic Mexican cooking as it is traditionally prepared in Mexican homes. During each episode, she delves into the rich culture and traditions unique to Mexico’s best foodie destinations, both from home cooks and established local chefs. From the bustling streets of Mexico City where Pati prepares a nostalgic childhood favorite, Huevos a la Mexicana, to the vibrant food truck scene in Tijuana, Pati serves up delicious meals with an ode to those who make and love them.
Her contributions to the culinary scene, particularly in promoting the diverse and vibrant food culture of Mexico, have captured the hearts and taste buds of fans throughout North America and beyond. Darren Durlach, Director & Co-Owner at Early Light Media shares his experience: “Working with Pati over the last year and a half on two shows and multiple brand web series has been a pleasure. Pati has introduced us to the wonders of our neighbors to the south, and has kept us incredibly well fed spiritually, professionally and literally. Pati is a force of nature. She’s one of the most talented people we know, and an incredible partner for ELM.”
As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we are proud to spotlight the many achievements of creators, chefs, and women like Pati Jinich who have paved the way for others to follow.
