Pati’s Mexican Table Returns with Season 14 — México Mágico: Mexico City

[Baltimore, MD — September 15, 2025] — The Award-winning PBS series Pati’s Mexican Table returns on Friday, September 26 with a brand-new season filmed in Mexico City, the hometown of chef, author, and host Pati Jinich.
Produced by long-time partners Early Light Media—who also produced Seasons 11, 12, and 13 of Pati’s Mexican Table, season two of La Frontera, and most recently Pati Jinich Explores Panamericana—Season 14 once again brings heart, humanity, and flavor to the screen.
How do you describe Mexico City? Chaotic. Sprawling. Beautiful. Unforgettable. While filming Season 14, one phrase echoed everywhere the crew went: “México Mágico.” From the pulsing heart of Central de Abastos to the still waters of Xochimilco, from family kitchens to legendary dance halls, this season is a love letter to the magic of the capital city.
Season Highlights
Each episode of Pati’s Mexican Table: México Mágico opens a window into a different corner of Mexico City—whether tracing the city’s history from Templo Mayor to Central de Abastos with journalist Enrique Acevedo, or exploring Xochimilco’s chinampas, traditional smoke kitchens, and efforts to protect the endangered axolotl. This season is especially meaningful, as Pati returns to her hometown, sharing deeply personal stories that include time with her family and a moving exploration of her Jewish heritage.
Across nine episodes, viewers will discover how history, art, food, and family shape one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
